Ted Williams is considered the greatest hitter to play the game and he was the only one who would hit home runs and het for average. He would hit .406 in 1941 he is still the only player to hit over .400 since Ted did it in 1941. He followed this up by winning his first Triple Crown in 1942. Williams interrupted his baseball career in 1943 to serve three years in the United States Navy and Marine Corps during World War II. Upon returning to MLB in 1946, Williams won his first AL MVP Award and played in his only World Series. In 1947, he won his second Triple Crown. Williams would win 6 American League batting championships. He would be a 19 time All-Star, 2 time AL MVP, 4 time AL home run leader, 2 time Triple Crown winner to name a few of his accomplishments. Check is written on his personal account and is dated May 29, 1989 and made out for 650 dollars. Great strong signature we would grade a 9. There are no cancellation marks affecting the signature.
