Santo would play for the Cubs 14 seasons, from 1960 to 1973. During his 15 year career he would be a 9 time All-Star and is the only third baseman to have over 90 RBIs in 8 straight seasons. He would win 5 Gold Gloves and lead the league in most every other category at third base until another Hall of Famer Mike Schmidt would break his records. Santo would be elected into the Hall of Fame in 2012. Louisville Slugger bat is a picture perfect Santo bat which is signed and un-cracked. Heavy tar on bottom of handle and around the label. Ball and seam marks with his number 10 on knob (our opinion and everyone has one) in marker with S2 stamped and faded 32 in pencil. PSA letter say's there is a number 20 on knob and was not used by Santo but a White sox teammate Nyls Nyman in 1974. Bat is a model S2, 34.5 inches, 32.1 ounces and is un-cracked. While PSA says bat was used by another player it appears to be a twin to the PSA 10 sold in the Huggins and Scott auction a few years ago. JSA ALOA and PSA LOA.
