This is probably your only chance to get a vault marked Yaz game used bat. Sent By Yastrzemski to Adirondack. Bat is a Hillerich & Bradsby model R206 Carl Yastrzemski professional model bat is un-cracked and exhibits evidence of excellent use. Several ball marks are visible on the right and left barrel and there is a light coat of pine tar on the upper handle. “Game 8 “ is written on the knob in black marker. “Do Not Use” is written on the back barrel and “381 R206” are written on the front barrel in black marker. These factory notations were applied at the Adirondack factory. The bat was sent to Adirondack by Yastrzemski to have bats of the same model made for him. In this case the Louisville Slugger model R206 has been given the Adirondack model number 381. We should also note the model 381 was also used by Adirondack to replicate the Louisville Slugger model C243. It’s possible “Do Not Use” refers to not using the R206 model to produce the 381 Adirondack model.
