Addendum This suit is not signed

Nascar grew dramatically in the late 1980's and started competing with baseball and football. Earnhardt was born and raised in Nascar country in North Carolina. He would become the biggest and notable Nascar driver that Nascar has ever seen. He would win 7 Winston Cup championships and the one race that eluded him until 1998 was the Daytona 500. On February 18th, 2001 he would pass away doing what he loved in turn 4 at the Daytona 500. In the crash, Earnhardt's head snapped forward violently, breaking his neck. The death of Nascar's most popular driver at that time led to the adoption of the "Hans device," which supports the head and does not allow it to snap forward in a crash. While his death was tragic it led to major safety improvements in the sport. The way he raced he would become known as "The Intimidator" as he would get behind you and fear would set in. The Nascar Hall of Fame inducted him in the inaugural class in 2010. He has 7 NASCAR Championships which would tie him with another Hall of Fame driver Richard Petty. In 1998 Nascar would name the 50 Greatest Drivers and Earnhardt was near the top of that list. NASCAR suit was worn during the 2000 season and shows nice race wear. Suit has all the sponsors on chest with main sponsor GOODWRENCH on front, back and side of arms and legs. Amazing suit from racing legend Dale Earnhardt.
