Offered is a Spalding unofficial baseball signed at a baseball banquet in the Maryland area in the mid-1950’s. The ball has been signed by 9 ballplayers including: John Franklin "Home Run" Baker (D. 1963) Baker played in Major League Baseball from 1908 to 1922, for the Philadelphia Athletics and the New York Yankees. Baker has been called the "original home run king of the majors.” He was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1955. Roy Hamey (D. 1983) best known as the GM for the 1961 New York Yankees Dick Porter (D. 1974) Major League ballplayer from 1929-34 for the Indians and Red Sox. He is an inductee into the Internal League HOF. Curt Simmons – (D) Phillies star Robin Roberts (D) Baseball HOF and Phillies legend By Saam (D. 2000) the voice of the Philadephia Phillies Del Ennis (D) Phillies legend Tom Kibler (D. 1971) was an American baseball player, coach of basketball and baseball, college athletics administrator and Minor League Baseball executive. He was a coach at Washington College, in various capacities, for over half a century. His duties included coaching the baseball, basketball and football teams. Prior to joining the Washington College staff, Kibler had been a baseball and basketball coach at the Ohio State University. He coached the basketball team from 1908 to 1910 and compiled a record of 22–2. One more name that we couldn’t identify. Inexpensive way to purchase Frank Home Run Baker on a baseball which is a super rarity!
