Following the 1992 season, Boggs would leave the Red Sox as he would hit under 300 for the first time in his career. The Red Sox thought he was on the downside of his career. Well, he signed with the New York Yankees and would play 3 seasons batting over 300 all 3 seasons and win 2 Gold Glove Awards. He would also help the Yankees win their first World Series since 1978. During his Hall of Fame career, he would be a 12-time All-Star, World Series Champion, 2 time Gold Glove winner and an amazing 5-time Batting Champion. This glove was obtained directly from Boggs and it is pounded with use and has a repair done by Rawlings. Boggs was known for using his gloves till they were no longer playable. This is an amazing example of one of those gloves. We can not read Model as it has tar covering it with Rawlings logo on thumb having some of it blacked out in marker. 12 on the thumb in marker and inscribed Game Used 93-94. JSA ALOA.
