Ty was one of the games greatest players and hitter. He would play the game furiously as every game was his last. While not liked by many players he is always praised as one f the greatest players to play the game. Cobb would finish his career in 1928 with 4191 career hits. This record would stand till 1985 when Pete Rose broke it in 1985. When Cobb retired he had won a American League MVP. won the Triple Crown, an amazing 12 American League batting championships, home runs championship and led the league in RBI 4 times. Official National League Warren Giles ball has been signed and inscribed by Cobb. The ball is personalized to Allen from his friend Ty Cobb. The ball appears to have been mounted at some time as he has a ring on a panel with a hole. Full JSA LOA says the signature has been traced over. Please view our website for Allen's last name.
