He had his finest hour in the battle of Gettysburg. He would relief General Meade which would cause a rift between the 2 Generals. Following the war, he would patent the cable car railway. 15 years after he passed away the Mills Commission declared that he invented the game of baseball. He is known as the inventor of the game but he never made this claim. The letter is about the anniversary of the battle of Middleburg that this book be would be given to the soldiers and sailors of the Historical Society.
