When the New England Patriots drafted Tom Brady as pick #199 in the 6th round of the 2000 NFL Draft, he was pretty much drafted as a project; not as the future of the NFL. In fact, when the Patriots notified him that he would be drafted, Brady was grateful that, he later said, he would not "have to be an insurance salesman. " Brady started the 2000 season as the Pats fourth string QB behind starter Drew Bledsoe and backups, John Friesz and Michael Bishop. By the season’s end, he was the backup QB. However, despite his rise through the ranks in the organization, Tom appeared in only 1 regular season game where he went 1 for 3 for 6 yards in the regular 2000 season. In 2001, Tom Terrific was expected to sit on the bench and watch and learn from Drew Bledsoe. That would all change on September 23, 2001 when Drew Bledsoe was knocked out of the game by Jets linebacker, Mo Lewis. Tom came in, won the game and the rest as they say; is history. Offered is a group of 35 FULL tickets from Tom Brady’s most significant football action in the NFL for the first pre-season game against the New York Giants in New England. Brady went 8 for 14 for 92 yards and the Pats would win 14-0. Little did Drew Bledsoe know that on August 10, 2001 that his heir apparent was just warming up to become the G.O.A.T. MB $350
